This was an excellent place to stay. The family running the place are so nice! Have the ice cream, it’s excellent. Best bed and the view is second to none! We had a second floor room in the newest wing and it was huge!

Excellent location just between glacier lagoon and Stokksnes. Staff was the best I had in all accomodations on my trip. Very nice, warm people around, making me feel very homey. Kudos to receptionist, kitchen lady, waiter and cleaning person. I had a room with a great view of mountains and glacier. Breakfast and dining were great.

Unlike some guesthouses, this was very easy to find. There were helpful staff on site who served us dinner. No worries of mishaps from remote check ins. The room was good. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, beans and bacon in addition to the continental fare. This makes fora good stopping point on a road trip.

We have stayed in this hotel for 2 days because of our planned glacier and ice cave tour in Jokulsarlon. The hotel is clean and the staffs are very nice. The breakfast was good and enough. They also have a small kitchen available for the guest to prepare simple meals. The room is bright and warm, with private shower/bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
