Bad expirience. Won't be staying there again. We were broken into (nobody's fault) however, the host left us in a house that was not secured for 2 nights. We told him the door was broken and he did not attempt to get it fixed or even check on us, not a call or even a text. My car keys were stolen with 3 remotes on it which in the beginning he said as an act of good faith he would cover the cost of getting them replaced. (obviously sorting this was an easier route than facing his lack of care liabilities). After he agreed to replace the remotes over the phone, I asked him to put it in an email -He then reneged on that offer and would only pay a certain amount which would not cover the cost. Sneaky. We all (3 older women) suffered in fear for 2 nights that the thieves may return, with the ability to just slide the door open and walk on in and that we could be robbed or worse.Our safety should have been paramount.The house was nice enough but the outdoor area did not even have a table or chair to sit on. It was a bare deck over looking a busy freeway, there was no garden, just baron dry dead grass. It said in the description it was a quiet area - it was next to the freeway, noisy all day and all night. We had to search the house high and low to find window keys to let fresh air in as it was stuffy and hot with no trees on the property. When we asked Johnnie where the keys might be, we got a "dunno".It was completely underwhelming because of the lack of customer care and service.

Stayed 4 nights in Feb 2026
