Rustic Base Camp – 5 Private Acres
Enjoy a private 5-acre camp with a raised platform featuring a ready-to-use tent and queen inflatable bed, covered storage, comfortable chairs, and a fire pit with open fire cooking. Easy drive-up access allows you to bring your camper and leave it on-site for the season. Enjoy nearby stream access and peaceful woods. Roses Brook Base Camp is a rustic, private camping site located off a dirt road behind Roses Brook Road. The property is accessed from Disco Drive and requires driving on an unpaved road and crossing a small bridge.
🏕️ Campsite Amenities
The site is intentionally rustic and designed for an outdoor camping experience. The landing deck provides the main campsite area, with storage in the wood structure in the deck containing equipment available for guest use.
There is a small portable toilet-style seat/toilet area, but there is no shower or traditional bathroom facility on the property.
📡 Cell Service & Communication
Cell service at the campsite is limited. Communication is available through satellite service. You will need a clear view of the sky to connect to the satellite.
Once connected, you may have the ability to send text messages and make phone calls, depending on your device and available satellite connection.
🔥 Heater Rental
If you would like to rent a heater for your stay, a heater is available for:
* $100 per weekend rental
* $200 refundable security deposit
The security deposit is held in case the heater is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced. The deposit will be returned according to the condition of the equipment after your stay.
Please request the heater rental in advance so it can be prepared for your arrival.
🌲 A New Rustic Camping Experience
Roses Brook Base Camp is a brand-new campsite and a new addition to our property. We are continuing to make improvements as we grow and genuinely appreciate thoughtful, private feedback from our guests about their experience.
The Base Camp is located on the same private property as our main vacation rental—the blue house on the main road. We take great pride in caring for our property and our guests. Our main home has built a strong reputation with guests and maintains an approximately 4.95-star rating, and we want to bring that same level of care and hospitality to the Base Camp.
Because this is a rustic, back-to-nature camping experience, it is intentionally different from a traditional vacation rental. Some of the experience is about enjoying the simplicity, privacy, and natural surroundings. At the same time, we want to continue making the campsite as comfortable, clean, and enjoyable as possible.
