I rang them up to inform them I'd be arriving around 3am due to work. They gave me a number to call and the lady let me in. Lovely staff, breakfast good. Cosy room, no complaints. Thanks for helping out at short notice.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bedroom was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. It’s a town centre pub so consider the noise (especially at weekends) but you can’t avoid that and it didn’t bother me. Would definitely use again.

I made a request weeks before my stay; for a room in the main hotel building for my birthday. As didn't want to be placed in the annex next to car park,, I was once placed there before, and was very cramped, dark and noisy,.. So when I checked in I was told there was only room in the annex.. The hotel had ignored my messages I forwarded to them.. My 2 nights were very noisy, Someone banged on the window early hours of the morning. I had left my towels on the floor as soaking wet to be changed, but they were just left on radiator. I had to go to reception to change them, I had no apology. My birthday ruined, I was very upset,I won't return.

Sun Hotel

The staff Sean, Monika and Erin were exceptional. They were friendly, personable, accommodating, attentive and polite. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel menu had a good variety and the food was excellent. It was a great place to stay!
