The hotel staff were all very warm and welcoming, making the stay feel cozy and pleasant. Although the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the port and major attractions, the complimentary shuttle service is very convenient and generally available upon request during working hours. The staff went over & above to make this such a memorable experience for my family & I… from the courteous welcome, to the authentic Japanese breakfasts & private dinners… the courtesy bus available at any point to drop us into town & collect us when we needed them, the bike hire which we used to explore the island… all so homely & truly memorable. Miyajima Island is so worthwhile an experience when visiting Japan & only 10 minutes by ferry to Hiroshima… such a beautiful experience for my whole family… we explored in winter… would love to go back in Autumn as well. Loved it!!!

A very special place.

Everything was amazing. The staff are very kind and friendly. Food was delicious. Futons were comfortable. Transportation into town was top knotch. Everything was awesome. I fell in love with this place. It is very special and I hope to return for a longer stay.
