Beautiful and very grand hotel. The rooms are a decent size with a couch (or arm chairs) and room to move around. Very comfortable. The breakfast was not worth the cost. Too expensive. Have had much better at other hotels. Trains and Tram very close by.

Room was very clean and large and the staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest negative was the motion sensing light in the hall by the bathroom. There was no way to turn this off, meaning if you used the bathroom at night suddenly you are blinded and waking up everyone else in the room. Eventually we figured out that we could cover the sensor with a bandaid, but then the light was unusable.

Spotless and comfortable, rooms a little small

All very good and great service. Only qualm was that the room sizes were small. Fine for the short stay we were having in Hiroshima but I wouldn’t want to be staying there for a week or more. Excellent location for Hiroshima station and not too far from Peace Memorial Museum. Very clean and comfortable in general.

Beautiful historical looking interior. Food options were very limited though. Bed was comfortable, however, could use more pillows other than just one each. Close to transit stations and shopping. Staff are very pleasant.

What a fantastic property. The suite is laid out very nicely. Space for moving around and storage. My mom is larger in stature and disabled. She was able to walk around the room with her American sized walker and able to take a nice shower in the bathroom. The hotel staff was very accommodating. They gave us the use of a wheelchair while on the premises. Everytime we walked through the lobby they made eye contact, gave us a nice smile, and bowed. The hotel seems to be very old. Some of the furniture and decorations look antiquated, but comfortable and well kept. All the other parts that you would want to be updated like toilets and beds are very well kept and modern. It's across the intersection from a department store and very close to Hiroshima Station. Overall a VERY nice place to stay while in Hiroshima. I would stay here again!!!! Thank you to the staff!

Unique reception decor

Uniquely decorated hotel, with suits of armour and a giant teddy in reception. Good location close to the main train station and tram. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice in a lovely room with stained glass windows. Helpful staff arranged forwarding on bags.

The bed in our room wasn’t flat. I spent 2 nights trying not to roll onto my partner. This meant two nights of terrible sleep. Can’t speak for all rooms but the bed seriously needed replacing. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. Close to the train station.
