Booked a single bed Oceanview, ended up with a double bed “Resort view” which was nothing but trees, terrible view. Which was supposed to be and “upgrade”. Had to switch rooms in the middle of the night because the ceiling was leaking, given nothing for our troubles. Walked past in multiple occasions at breakfast/dinner. We had one server that was great, everything else was mid honestly. Lastly, you should keep at least one male and one female masseuse available. I shouldn’t have to be forced to be rubbed down by a man as a man if I want a massage at my hotel. Both sexes should be available.

Hotel was beautiful and clean, beach access was easy and convenient, breakfast was amazing! Charges for beach are not advertised being 50.00 a day or more with tipping, self parking fees never new about that 20.00 a day, and two drinks during the day cost about 40.00!! For an expensive stay these charges were hidden and overpriced not to mention the costs in the gift shop.

Unfortunately our stay at the HHI Westin was far from what we expected for the price and from a premier Westin resort - and from past visits. The hotel is in need of some serious TLC/maintainance current room decor is cold, scant and showing its heavy beach and family use. Our room was clean but bed looked like it had been thrown together at the last minute and there was food debris on the outside balcony. We were disturbed twice by housekeeping (once waking us up early in the morning) despite having the do not disturb sign visible on door. Food

The hotel itself is gorgeous, very welcoming reception area, check in was a breeze. The room itself was very comfortable, with a beautiful view! Our only complaint during our stay was that the shower was very slow to drain/clogged. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Our room was exceptional. Tremendously comfortable bed. Not as quiet as we hoped at night but found out we were near dog park for hotel guests. Gosh. Leave your dog at home! Elevator near our room was out of service so pretty long walk. We managed. Very disappointed with pool area and pools. Broken cement at steps walking to Tiki Hut for towels. Chairs very stained and very few of them. Packed so close together it was difficult to lay out or even sit on one without crawling onto them. Limited pool chair table for beverages. Very thin pool towels, take two. I was not impressed with that part of stay. Chairs and beds to rent. Really? I wouldn’t recommend this place. I was under impressed with Hilton Head Island as a vacation destination.
