The property was beautiful, and the staff was amazing! The food was excellent. Watching the sunrise from my balcony while listening to the fountains in the lagoon was so tranquil. AND I loved meeting all the dogs I could and watching them play in the ocean. I do appreciate that about the Sonesta.

Sonesta is a beautiful resort! We only spent 3 nights, but found everything about the resort to be excellent. The adult pool and hot tub were well designed. Lots of seating with or without shade. We enjoyed a delicious BLT wrap from Sugar Cane’s and met a friendly and sweet doodle named Dudley who is a mascot of the resort. We will return.

What a pleasant surprise. This was one of the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed in. The resort is huge with lush green moss covered mature trees, miles of biking trail, clean heated pools, jacuzzi, private beach, fit pits, multiple restaurants. You couldn’t ask for more at such an affordable price. Staff is very friendly. We can’t wait to go back.

I think this place is overrated and overpriced… its not bad bad but nothing special about it , kinda dark at night restaurants and food not the best … also servers are weird tbh not super friendly stuff
