My partner and I stayed at the Garden Inn for three days, and would definitely return if we had a reason to come back to Hilton Head. Even though we arrived three hours before the check-in time, we were able to go directly to our room, which was a mini-suite with a king-sized bed, couch, two TVs and a kitchenette. Very comfortable!
The staff were all friendly and professional, and the handouts with dining options and info on beaches were very helpful.
Although the swimming pool had modest proportions, it was clean, well-stocked with towels and had its own bathroom. I swam there every day.
We only tried the breakfast buffet once, but it was fine, and good value for $17. We didn't eat dinner there, but the menu looked good.
The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the a/c, which blew cold air no matter what temperature we set on the thermostat. We actually had to turn it off at night. We probably should have asked someone at the front desk to look at it, but didn't.
A nice touch was the card with a QR code to tip the great housekeeping staff. I wish more hotels offered that!
Overall, I would heartily recommend the Hilton Garden Inn!
