Comfortable and very clean just one block from the beach. 2Bed/2Bath condo in Forest Gardens, South Forest Beach area near Coligny.. This includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and electric range/stove, toaster and coffee maker. You will also find a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a single over double bunk bed and a Murphy hideaway bed in the guest bedroom. The very spacious master bedroom has a king sized bed with attached private bath. This is a beautifully landscaped complex with walking trails and bicycle paths that will take you anywhere on HHI, or enjoy the pool nearby. You also have tennis, biking, golf, shopping and dining at Coligny Plaza all within a few minutes of the condo. Sorry, but no pets and no smoking.

Our stay at Joel & Connie’s condo was everything we could have asked for in an affordable VRBO experience! The primary bedroom had a comfy bed & pillows. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our time out on the balcony when we wanted to spend time outside out of the sun. The condo was fairly walkable to most things including the beach, shops, and restaurants.The condo is located in a beautiful, central location. We highly recommend Carolina Coffee & Crumbs for breakfast/coffee (so good, we went twice!), Frozen Moo for ice cream, and Cafe al Dente & The Frosty Frog for dinner. We also highly recommend Hilton Head Segway Tours and Cross Island Cruises for a private dolphin cruise. Sea Pines Forest Preserve was nearby and beautiful for a hike and picnic. A few things I think are helpful to share, though completely out of Joel & Connie’s control and don’t affect my rating of the condo — we were woken up by some stomping from the upstairs neighbor, the walk from the parking lot to the condo is a bit of a workout when hauling luggage, and there is a hotel parking lot right next to the condo. During our stay, there were some very rowdy men having a party in the hotel parking lot, blocking our nearest exit from the development. These things would not prevent us from staying here again but we’ll definitely plan for them next time.Joel & Connie were communicative, responsive, let us check in early, and we’d definitely stay with them again!

This was an excellent villa to vacation in. It is close to everything only a short walk to the beach or ride to Coligny area for shopping and great restaurants. The owners are very responsible for your care and answer any concerns you have. The unit is supplied with many items to start your stay.

We’re already planning a return trip

This condo quickly felt like home. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed all the little amenities. The place was very clean and exactly as pictured - a little bigger than we expected actually. Our kiddo loved the bunkbeds. The master bed was comfortable . But I do wish there were blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The rooms did get pretty bright pretty early. By day 2 we decided we wanted to come back to Hilton Head next year and stay in the same place. The walk to the beach was about 15 minutes pulling a wagon with a 9-year old walking with us. The pool was great, we went several times. Perfect for the evenings with a kid. We did walk into town to the Coligny Plaza Shopping Center once. That was a bit far for us. I’d recommend riding a bike or driving. We did discover that if you went around 5-5:15 you had a much better chance of getting a parking spot and little to no wait to be seated to eat. We went later one evening and had about a 45 minute wait. But we liked walking around and checking out all the shops while we waited.

Golf and beach stay

It was very nice! The king bed was nice and firm and the bathrooms had been remodeled in the last year or so. The distance to the beach wasn't bad and was very doable. There are two things I would change. Add a blender to the property and add check out directions.

The pictures do not do this property justice. The unit is perfectly clean and bright and was more than enough space for my family of 4. The location is a 2 minute drive to all the things at Coligny, including free beach parking. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need (pots, pans, silverware, salt, pepper, cooking spray, dish soap, sponge etc) We brought our own laundry detergent knowing we’d need to do a couple loads (2 y/o and an infant) however they had some as well. The washer/dryer were very convenient to have. We would highly recommend this unit to a family traveling to HHI. It is a corner 1st floor unit with just enough privacy.

I feel some compensation is due here

the place seemed run down and smelled when you opened the door, there was roaches in bathrooms , the tile in front of master shower was cracked and it rocker when you stood on it, and you should really have a grab bar in the shower. the floors in master bedroom were sloping toward the bathroom. There was mold in washer around the the rubber and i washed a few items they smelled worse after I washed them.
