This was an amazing house, with about 4-5 rooms all to ourselves. There was full kitchen and cooking facilities, and some snacks and cooking materials (milk, sauces, etc) had been left for us to use. Each room was an Aladdin's cave of souvenirs and oddities, attached to the wall or ceiling. There was an amazing little garden, with a pond, which had some very noisy frogs in it. There was veranda and porch, so we could sit outside and have a drink. It was like living in a hobbit house or something out of a fairy tale, and made the experience truly magical.
Shops were a 20min walk or 5min drive away, but once shopping was done there was a huge fridge to store it all in. All mod cons were there, TV, aircon (in the bedroom), shower, wifi, etc. There was even a cheap laundry service with 24h return. It also had a free covered off-road parking space.
If you want somewhere to stay that is truly memorable, stay here. It beats a boring hotel any day!
