Located near I-77, Motel 6 is a great home base for exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby. The room was comfortable and low priced. We stayed 4 nights and visited several Mountain View places. Stores and shops are abundant in that area. The owner and staff are great. You have to live with some traffic noise but it settles down by bedtime.

The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Towels were thin and small. Ask to be on the second floor. We had someone above us that walked around all night. It felt like they would come through the ceiling at any moment. We did not sleep well, constantly being awakened by the person above us.
