The first room we were put in had bed bugs on the pillows so we took pillow and bug down to front desk the didn’t act like it was a problem. We ask to be moved to a different room. They did move us and had no issues. The hot tub was not working.

No breakfast when we were ready at 9am to hit the road Our room had 2 hvac units competing each other for heat and ac. There were banged up furniture in our unit. No soap for the sink in the bathroom, no closet, no extra pillows or blankets. Smelled like sex a foul odor.

A child had clearly went through and sampled one of each of the bread and pastry foods - bagel, bread, and muffin - and then put them back. And based on the rock hard consistency of the bagels, that clearly hadn't happened on the same morning we were there.

Besides being clean and beautifully decorated with Halloween theme and goodies, the pantry, refrigerator and counter were so well stocked for breakfast and snacks.

Overpriced and needing maintenance

When I checked in the front desk, it was very limited interaction and he gave me one key card and a used card sleeve. The bed and room were OK but the bathroom had hair on the sink. One overhead light was out and the overhead lamp heater didn’t work And it needed several other repairs. The breakfast was average, but the person that was supposed to tend to that area was also in charge of the front desk and he didn’t either. He just sat on the couch with his shoes off on the phone.

A very bad experience supposed to have two nights and because it was eleven pm when I got in there and they canceled because they said I wasn’t there after four I will not stay there ever again they even gave our room to another couple and took our stuff out of the room instead of waiting till we got back to room even tho they said I had one night not two so I took my stuff and left and went down the road and stayed at a real nice Microtel in dry ridge ky

You get what you pay for! Surrounding area has shopping and restaurants. It's close to hwy 71 but considerably quiet. Staff were helpful and the breakfast spread was great. The gym seems eternally closed. The biggest issues are with the guest suites. They border between filthy and disgusting. Mgmt seem to be piecemealing superficial upgrades like new furniture here and there. These do little to mask structural problems like dead outlets, weak toilets, crumbling ceilings. I demanded my room be switched because of the stench of smoke in my first room but there were numerous biohazardy objects discovered in both. They downgraded my room without compensation but I was just happy to escape the freshner doused smoking room. Tip: thoroughly check your room before you settle in!

Do not stay here until they are done with reno

We booked a room with king bed and online it showed 4 available. When we checked in we were told there were only queen beds available. The place was under renovation so there was paint and stuff everywhere on the floor. When we opened the door to our room, there were 2 5 gal buckets of paint in the doorway and everything was a mess. We went back downstairs to tell the clerk. He stated he didn’t know what rooms were clean and what weren’t and that he’d have to clean one. Mind you, it was 230 am and we were ready to get some rest. He comes back after a few mins saying he had another room ready. So we go back upstairs to the new room. The first bed had a huge stain on the upper left corner but the other one was surprisingly clean. It was advertised that breakfast was included but in fact it wasn’t. The faucet handle fell off each time you used it and the bathroom did not have a shower curtain.

Won’t stay here again

Heating/AC unit not working. Unit controls covered in drywall powder. Floor was soft in areas as if the flooring was rotten underneath. Room was musty. Towels were as thin as paper towels.
