I had not realized it but this property is also a KOA campground. The room was clean and quiet. Everything that I needed was on the property, a convenience store, good restaurant, ice cream and pizza shop. Mt Rushmore is one turn away, which was incredible and we wound up passing it at least once every day which was an unexpected bonus. The Needles hwy is also very close. The room was dated but everything was very clean and the carpet was new. There was easy access to hiking right out our door, if I wanted to go alone. I would come back.
