The house was everything we were looking for with our girls weekend trip. The kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor sitting area with fireplace was a dream! The linens in each bedroom were very comfortable and the Christmas tree was a great added touch that got us all in the mood for the upcoming holiday! We will definitely stay here again next year for our girls weekend!!

Amazing home located close to the heart of Highlands! The house was perfect for our entire family to come together and build memories together. The home is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked as well! We really enjoyed the porch with fireplace right off the family room. Wonderful property and the host could not have been more responsive. In fact, probably the most prompt host we’ve ever worked with, thanks!!

FABULOUS!! FABULOUS!! FABULOUS !! What a wonderful home!! Spacious home and very comfortable furniture with plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything you could want and much more. The porch was a favorite of all with a roaring fire on chilly days. With two bedrooms and baths on the main floor and two of each downstairs there was plenty of room to spread out. Only one step to get in the house with a two car carport You will not be disappointed!!! We hope to return Easy access to owner. Everything about this place is wonderful!!

Rosebay Cottage was a very serene, clean, and beautiful place to stay! Tucked into the woods with a nice mountain view. Well appointed with everything you’d need. The back porch was our favorite place to gather and enjoy the fireplace! We hope to return sometime soon.

We all loved the covered deck. Perfect for catching up, playing games and enjoying the fireplace. We didn’t expect rain all weekend but it didn’t matter. Plenty of space throughout the house. Wedding weekend stay

This property was so accomodating for our large family gathering for a wedding weekend. The spacious outdoor patio space, with woodburning fireplace, was particularly welcoming and provided adequate cover from the mountain storms.I would highly recommend this property for a large group of people, with comfortable beds for all, plenty of bathrooms, and cozy living spaces.

Relaxing and spacious

We had a family wedding to attend in Highlands and I wanted a place where all of my adult children could stay with me! Twig and Nest exceeded our expectations. With 5 less and 4 baths it was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with serving pieces and utensils- not always the case in my experience with rentals. There was plenty of firewood for us to use on the beautiful back porch. Highly recommend!

Fantastic porch!

Great location. Shared living spaces were awesome, especially the porch. We had a large party and there was plenty of room for all to gather together. The only complaint is the beds in a couple of the rooms were uncomfortable.

An unforgettable Christmas!

My family and I stayed here over Christmas and had the loveliest time. We stayed in and cooked the majority of the time, and the house was perfectly equipped with everything we could've ever needed. Barbara went above and beyond with the Christmas decor which made it extra special and festive! The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were a huge plus. Perfect spot for a girls weekend!

We could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was spacious and well equipped. The beds were so comfortable and the back porch with a fireplace was to die for. It was very close to town and to local restaurants. We would highly recommend to others!

Hidden gem in Highlands

Wonderful stay at this lovely warm home nestled in the woods just east of Highlands. Perfect for 4 senior couples who travel together once a year Would give a 4.5 to 4.75 rating Grill grates were rusted outside on deck ( no cover seen) but we loved cooking in the chef’s kitchen ! Bedrooms very clean but a little small except the master suite Dogs barking at night and rough entry road but not terribly annoying Great home for a family retreat Excellent host very responsive clear home rules and directions Would definitely stay here against !
