We had such a great stay even just for 1 night. The property was extremely cozy and centrally located. The front yard is so welcoming. We had a Bunkhouse lower level room which allows dogs for a fee. Be aware the rooms are on the smaller side but ours did have a patio that helped make it seem bigger. My only complaint was that the restaurant wasn’t open on a Sunday evening despite it being busy season. We would have loved to check it out. However they offered coffee and a super tasty breakfast loaf to hold us over through checkout. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Highlands.
We had a wonderful stay ! The rooms are very safe quiet and cozy. The staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. The food was delicious. All the shopping was within walking distance so the location is perfect . We will be back next year !

The hotel was just what I needed. Comfortable, inviting, interesting. The staff was exceptional. I enjoyed my stay.
We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy Inn. Highlands is just the prettiest area and the hotel had the perfect cozy vibe we were looking for. The breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at HMH. The tavern food was delicious, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Highlands. The HMH bikes were a fun way to see the town.
Friendly, hospitable staff. Also, two common areas with period decor and stone fireplace + fire created a warm, relaxed, inviting atmosphere that we'll want to return to.
