Safari Sun Glamping Tent

Our luxury glamping tent “Safari Sun” is located 10 minutes from the center of the New River Gorge National Park and can accommodate two guests in a king size bed and an additional person on the futon sofa. Amenities include: safari decorated living area with futon and king size bed, kitchenette with sink (there is no dishwasher), refrigerator, 2 burner hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dishes and cookware, indoor dining table for two, tv with Dish Network, Wi-Fi, heating/cooling inverter unit, private outdoor fire pit area with camp chairs and patio table/chairs, gas grill, full bathroom with shower and your own private hot tub on the back deck!

All bed linens, towels and extra amenities including coffee, sugar, creamer and all paper products are also included to make your Safari Sun glamping experience one you will always remember!
If you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or other special occasion, please be sure to let us know and we’ll add a special surprise for you to enjoy!

Located close by to all New River Gorge National Park activities and the world famous New River Gorge Bridge, Summersville Lake, New and Gauley Rivers whitewater rafting, zip lines, hiking, horseback riding, Hawk’s Nest, Babcock and Carnifex Ferry State Parks, mountain climbing/rappelling and lots of local shops and restaurants in the nearby “coolest small town” of Fayetteville.

Please be aware that although this is a luxury glamping tent, it is still technically camping! Although we do have AC/heat, we cannot control the weather outside.

This place is awesome!! It’s the feel of tent camping, which we loved (but we are getting too old to sleep on a mattress on the ground), but the comfort of staying in a cabin. The Safari Sun was just adorable, from the outside lights, to the cute safari animal decor. We’ll definitely be back!!

Amazing place

I have been to a lot of glamping places and this one was my favorite one so far. The bed was so comfortable...the hot tub was a bonus, we had baby deer everywhere. It just was so peaceful. I hated to leave it. It's also so nice to have all the accommodations in the tent as well. The owner was very friendly and very welcoming! I highly recommend this one.

Comfortable and cozy stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this glamping tent. Even with heavy rain, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the hottub because the outside areas are covered. The tent stayed very dry as well. We did not receive check in information prior to arrival, but this was easy enough to figure out. I would recommend this place to others visiting the area.
