This was a really lovely place to stay. Beautiful views, wonderful things to do. We totally enjoyed ourselves. The host was easy to work we and we left completely satisfied. The cabin was clean with cozy beds. There were four of us adults and it was very comfortable for us all.

HIGHLY recommend booking this adorable cabin! It’s nestled up in a quiet gorgeous canyon. This property was exceptionally clean and well stocked with so many kitchen essentials! We felt so comfortable our whole stay. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Close to Mesa verde and downtown Durango. There’s hiking trails in the canyon and even a small waterfall. It’s a great location I wish I could’ve stayed forever!

Quiet off the grid cabin with plenty of great views, hikes in the area ranging from easy to very challenging. The woodburning stove is extremely cozy, Starlink is great internet and the solar power will easily keep up with usage during sunny days; with a reserve of 3-4 days even during heavy overcast/storms.The free-range cattle may pay you a visit during the fall season, and you'll have plenty of opportunities for leaf-peeping right out the window.HIGHLY recommend the restaurant at the bottom of the hill, in my opinion it's the best in La Plata county.Whether you want to go up to Purgatory Ski resort, or head out to the desert to check out the Canyons of the Ancients ruins or Green Mesa National Park, this site is located at a perfect medium spot in-between. The host is friendly and very communicative.

PROS: The location was lovely! Lots of space, very quiet, and surrounded by nature. Both days we were there, we were able to just walk outside the home and explore. The wood burning stove kept the place really cozy! The kitchen was stocked and usable. A bit small but nothing can be done about that. We were less than a 30 min drive to downtown Durango for a nice walk, groceries, and a coffee. The place has a ton of sleeping options. For just the 2 of us, it was great.CONS: We had to select our bed before arrival. While I understand the reason, it gave us no option in the event the bed wasn't comfy. The bed was fine, the pillows were not, We had to snag some off another bed. Some of the house rules weren't communicated in advance. No cameras were disclosed in the listing. Not a problem for us but it is VRBO policy that all cameras are disclosed. The bathroom was tiny. For just us 2...totally doable. I couldn't imagine sharing the tiny bathroom with 4 or 10 guests. I would stay again with just us 2. Cute place.
