Lovely property, peaceful location

Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
The property is lovely clean and well kept. The description is accurate. However there were no instructions given on how to gain access to the property, I emailed the day before to ask but received no reply at all. On arrival we phoned the 2 numbers given on numerous occasions again no answer, we left messages but no answer. After 30 minutes of wandering around looking for a key we found it under a stone. On entry it was apparent that the property was not prepared, the bedding etc was still there from the previous guests, we locked up the property, at which point we bumped into the host who told us where the key was. We explained that we had been in and it was not ready. The host then rang soneone to help her prepare the barn. We left the site for 1 1/2 hours and when we returned it was nearly ready. The only other attempt to contact the host was to see what the pin was for the car charger, and again received no reply.
