About this property

Glamping in Style at Kerr Lake — "Tranquility Cabin"

Escape to a natural setting without sacrificing the comforts of home at “Tranquility Cabin” loft at Holly Forest on Heritage Farm.

Enjoy an unforgettable stay in this handcrafted loft cabin, nestled among the trees on our 100+ acre working farm — a homestead focused on natural practices just a quarter mile from Kerr Lake.

You’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this.

Beneath a soaring A-frame ceiling, the all-wood interior of the Tranquility Cabin feels both expansive and tucked into the forest. Natural light pours through oversized windows, creating a calm, airy space with uninterrupted views of the woods just beyond.

It’s a quiet, grounded retreat; warm, simple, and intentionally connected to its surroundings.

Lots of natural light throughout
Heat & ceiling fan for year-round comfort
Natural wood interior throughout
Queen bed
Cozy seating area
Outdoor seating area with peaceful meadow views

The Loft is the perfect place to rest, relax, and renew; your own little wooded escape, surrounded by nature, with every modern convenience you could wish for.

• Cell service is carrier dependent (Verizon and AT&T both work great for us)

• Clean, easy-to-use bathhouse

• Plenty of parking space — bring your boat!

• Event facilities available

Note: This a mostly off-grid camp-like experience with limited electricity via large battery packs (provided), heat via wood-fired stove, and no AC. (If you want all these home comforts in the same rustic setting then book the "Serenity Loft".) An overhead fan provides ample air-flow in the summer months, along with misting fans; ice water can be filled in the base to provide a cool-air experience.

The area is beautiful and a working landscape, which means you may see or hear activities related to agriculture, forestry, and rural life.

Leave your tent and camping gear at home. Simply pack and dress for the weather, bring a sense of adventure, and spend your time dreaming and doing (not packing & setting up gear).

We'll send you our Packing Guide to make your prep simple.

• Sleeps 2 total with a queen bed; children are welcome, just bring your own sleeping bags to stay in the cabin with you, or bring your own tent to setup right outside.

• Plenty of space for multiple vehicles and boats on the spacious property

• Play pickleball or basketball on the private Sport Court located at Holly Forest

• Wood/charcoal grill with grill grate provided; wood and charcoal available for purchase on site

Thanks for helping us keep wildlife safe and your visit enjoyable!
