Your vacation home is a lovingly restored thatched-roof cottage situated in the quaint village of Zennhusen, nestled between old sea dikes behind the main dike. This romantic and absolutely quiet location lies between Tönning and Wesselburen in what locals call the "Northern Dithmarschen Switzerland." The landscape features old dikes and mounds, offering endless walking paths directly from the village and beautiful cycling routes. Large farmsteads and well-maintained homes characterize this village with its special neighborhood charm. You can quickly reach the contemplative harbor town of Tönning with its Multimar Wattforum, Packhaus at the harbor, Eider beach, and shopping opportunities. The natural bathing beach at Wesselburenerkoog and St. Peter-Ording are also nearby. Just outside Zennhusen's gates, you will find a small bathing spot behind the yacht harbor, popular with locals during high tide. Shopping facilities are available in Tönning and Lunden.
