I stayed here for just one night before flying out of Helsinki, and it was a practical choice. The location is ideal—close to shopping and easy to reach, especially when time is tight. What really drove my selection were the free airport shuttle and complimentary breakfast, both of which added great value. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, making the short stay smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was decent—not exceptional, but enough to start the day. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad, but not great either. If you’re looking for a convenient stopover with useful amenities, it’s a solid option.

There was only 175 ft.² making it very tight in the room, including the tiny desk less than an inch away from the bed, one time moving at night, made it very easy for me to bang my head on the corner. The other side of the bed only had 10 inches from bed to wall. Same with the foot end of the bed. Very little space to put luggage. The bathroom was about the best part of the room.

I didn’t unfortunately have a good stay in the hotel, the room was noisy (work up at early morning hours to loud talk from outside the room), the room air quality was musty and temperature hot, the room walls were in a need of paint and it was just not money’s worth. The good part was breakfast, it seemed like it was another service provider who does excellent job but the hotel side was not up to the same standard. Would pick another airport hotel next time as normally.

It was a nice room and breakfast was very good. Disappointed in the shuttle service not working because I stayed during the mid summer weekend. A taxi was €20 or there was a bus but it included a 7 minute walk with luggage was not ideal. Front desk was nice and held my luggage while I explored the city which was a 40 minute bus ride. Because the shuttle service was not working that weekend, I almost feel better off booking a hotel in the city center. The breakfast and staff was friendly and room was clean which was a positive.

Wonderful place to stay near airport

This place is a short walk from the tram. It’s clean and comfortable with a cute, retro exterior. They even put out a great hot breakfast starting at 5 am for early travelers and a cold breakfast as early as 3. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

We were in Helsinki for one week. The Pilot Hotel was very near and convenient to the airport. The staff were very personable and took care of our every request. The facilities were in excellent condition and very clean. Each morning the breakfast bar was hot and held a vast selection of foods. .

Good value and very close to airport

Keenly priced room. Quite small with kettle but no tea or coffee. Loads of parking and just 6 minutes drive to the airport. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast was very basic but good value. Would happily stay here again.

The bus pick up from the airport to the hotel runs every 30 minutes and punctual. The check in process was easy, the room was small but perfect for an overnight sleep as a quick stop by the airport. The breakfast was really good and the place extremely clean. A great option for very late arrival/early departure to/from the Helsinki airport.

Perfect Hotel for overnight by the airport

Just an overnight for an early flight. Hotel doesn't look much from outside but inside it is very nice. Included breakfast was excellent. Free shuttle to hotel was on time and easy to find. Helpfully you could prebook your shuttle to the airport to be sure of a seat.
