This house was exactly what we needed for our stay. We really appreciated the older charm of the place—it has a lot of character—but don’t let the age of the home discourage you. It’s been well cared for and turned out to be a fantastic place to stay.The kitchen was clean, functional, and had everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels and sleeping arrangements for our whole group. Everything about the property matched the listing, so there were no surprises when we arrived.What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The host was incredibly friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. At one point, one of our friends blew a tire on her trailer. I was about 30 minutes behind them with a jack to help fix it, but by the time I arrived, the owner and his brother-in-law—who both live on either side of the property—had already stepped in and taken care of it. That kind of kindness and willingness to help really says a lot about the people here.Overall, this was a great experience with great people. If we find ourselves needing a place to stay in Helper again, this property will definitely be at the top of our list.
