We arrived at 1:30 AM and check-in was quick, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, once in the room we noticed the fridge was making a very loud noise, almost like an alarm. I went back to the front desk for help, but no one was there, and after waiting several minutes I gave up. I ended up using earplugs, but even with them, the noise kept me from getting any real sleep.
In the morning, I went to shower and noticed black mold on the upper part of the wall. While the water pressure was actually great, I couldn’t help but feel uneasy about the mold and the possibility of breathing in spores. The paint around the doors was also chipped and worn—overall the space felt like it could use some updates and care.
At checkout, I mentioned the issues with the fridge noise, the mold, and the lack of staff at the desk during the night. The attendant took a few notes, but that was all. I even mentioned that they had my contact information if a manager wanted to follow up, but I haven’t heard anything.
I can see the staff are trying to keep things clean, but my stay was far from restful and not what I expected. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience.
