The Cottage is a one bedroom/bath cottage part of the Historic Lawrence and Amanda Beaver property .4 miles from downtown Helena. The property is surrounded by a 75 mile trail system that all funnel right to the property. WiFi and a Smart TV are provided as well as a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Its proximity to the breweries and downtown amenities makes this a walkable destination with a mountain feel.

Our stay waa very cozy, clean, and the hostess was super nice! We enjoyed having a good sized shower, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen also! Coffe was provided and very good. Love this little historic house. Perfect for staying with a canine friend with the dog-door and fenced yard. Easy check-in, check-out. clean and cute. Easy walking to downtown Helena, easy access to hiking trails. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and utensils, and many spices, making home-cooking easy too. My favorite place to stay when I visit Helena.

There was a very well appointed kitchen with spices in the cabinet and salad dressings the fridge. Very much appreciated the ziploc bags that were available. We used the grill twice for burgers and brats. Very quiet location with an extremely comfy bed. Only issue was the 22 steps to get to the front door as I arrived in a wheelchair. Thanks, Eliza!

The Cottage at Bunkhouse Exceeded My Expectations

The perfect location to be apart of what is happening in downtown Helena. Super quiet, well maintained, and has a flair of its own that most places do not have. An absolutely perfect Vrbo for myself and I will book again for all future visits. The charm of the Cottage, along with the beauty of Helena and the people, has helped me fall in love with the area.Lastly, thank you to the property manager for the excellent communication, response time, and overall mamagement of the property. Quite the property that more people should enjoy!!!

Excellent vacation stay. Such a convenient location. Very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication with Eliza. Loved enjoying coffee on the private patio where we could watch the wildlife. So much history to explore! Reeder’s Alley is a must see if you’re a history buff. The entire neighborhood is historical. Hiking, library & restaurants were within walking distance. She was available to answer any questions we had. Overall, wonderful accommodations! Highly recommend!

Lovely Home
