As I mentioned earlier, my stay didn't allow me to try it. I like the convenience of the location so much, but the bathroom wasn't as clean as I expected. But all the other things were very nice for two nights.

Our room was not clean the way a hotel/motel room should be. Obviously the building is older so I expect things to be a bit wore down but that doesn’t not excuse the lack of cleaning! There was dog hair in the tub, dead bugs, dust and debris under the desk and smashed M&M melted to the floor. We did see a live roach unfortunately. Very disappointed on the cost. Like I said I know it’s an older building so I didn’t expect it to be a 5 star accommodation but I DO however EXPECT it to be clean! Water pressure wasn’t great but a change of the shower heads might help. The little carpet that is in the room next to the bed had an odor. Needs some carpet cleaning done. We weren’t the only people who had complained about the cleanliness either. Do Better Wyndham and Super 8!!!

Where do we start. Breakfast there nothing to drink but coffee no milk or no juice, pancake machine was out of service, a block of cream cheese uncovered in the mini fridge for all guest to dip into. Fruit flies on the apples. That was morning one.... night 2 the neighbors had their tv on all night long and began fighting at 7am and that continued until 11am. No help from the man at the desk, day 3 no towels were available besides the two we were given on day 1, one was the size of a bath mat, no hand towels for the entire 4 night stay. Night 3 we had neighbors snoring so loud you could hear it through the walls Night 4 we come back to find the neighbors door wide open and a bull dog loose in the parking lot. Advised young girl at the desk that the room was open and a dog was loose, she wouldn't contact the guest "they didn't have a dog she said" hours later a man shows up and wonders why his door is open, well the dog ate the trim and got out... we kept an eye on her all that time. So if your room door is wide open and your dog is loose.... no help from staff. Last night there we had elephants above us. Pounding on the floors. We've been staying in Helen for years and this was our first and last time at this hotel. Poorly run, floors were water damaged and lifted. We woke up the first morning sick with sinus issues. Bad bad bad management!!!
