This cozy retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort—perfect for families, friends, or couples looking to unwind. Enjoy the screened porch with an outdoor dining table, ideal for morning coffee, evening meals, or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings.



The Space

Step into a bright and airy living area where tall ceilings and massive windows bring the outdoors in. Stretch out on the comfortable sectional, or enjoy movie nights with two TVs and two Blu-Ray players. A PS1 mini, board and card games, children’s books, puzzles, and toys make it easy to unplug and play.

1. The Woods Resort (distance from house - walkable): a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the food is pretty great too. Be sure to check out the new enclosed dining pavilion or mobile kitchen for order-to-go!

2. Historic Downtown Berkeley Springs (distance from house - 30 mins): Charming and full of unique shops, art galleries, and locally-owned restaurants. It's a great place to spend a day browsing and exploring. Be sure to check out Berkeley Springs Antique Mall and weekend Farmer’s Market and Art Walk for unique finds.

3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 mins): Hiking, picnicking, and stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. It’s an excellent place for outdoor activities like hiking, golf, and wildlife watching. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, the park’s Cacapon Mountain trail provides an excellent hike with panoramic views.

4. Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area (distance from house - 10 mins) This area offers a network of trails suitable for mountain biking, including the Sleepy Creek Mountain Trail and Meadow Branch Trail, providing scenic routes through diverse terrain.

5. Poor House Farm Park (distance from house - 30 mins) This park features approximately 3.5 miles of marked trails suitable for beginner to intermediate mountain bikers, set in a picturesque environment.
