Ski La Vie sits in the Jordanelle corridor east of Park City, a modern mountain house built for the trip where the skiing is the point but the house is the reason everyone agreed to come. Natural wood and stone run through the interior, warmed by contemporary lines that keep it from tipping into lodge cliché.
The living area opens around a grand stone fireplace, with a large flat-screen for the hours when nobody wants to move. Just off it, the kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances and enough room for the group to cook together instead of taking turns.
Four bedrooms each come with an ensuite bath, which is the detail that makes a group trip work. The primary takes a king plus a twin daybed and opens onto a private balcony with lake and mountain views. The second bedroom holds a queen, the third a king, and the fourth is built around two queen bunks — the room the kids will fight over and the one that makes this house work for families.
The game room handles everything that isn't skiing. Foosball, an arcade cabinet, a beverage counter, a big TV, and decor that doesn't take itself seriously. It's where the day ends up when the mountain closes.
Out back, the patio has a seating area, a grill, and a hot tub, which is the correct order of operations after a long day out. The mountain air does the rest, in any season.
The location is the real argument. Deer Valley's East Village is minutes away — the corridor's Jordanelle Express Gondola is about five minutes out, and the East Village base sits just off Highway 40 with day-skier parking and lift access. Deer Valley has been in the middle of the largest expansion in ski industry history: the resort has added eleven new chairlifts since December 2024, including the ten-passenger East Village Express gondola up to Park Peak, and now runs roughly 4,300 skiable acres across seven bowls. More is still coming, with the East Village Lodge and Park Peak Lodge both slated for the 27/28 season.
Summer holds its own here. Jordanelle Reservoir is right there for boating, fishing, swimming, and paddle days, and the surrounding area covers zip lines, ATV trails, and hiking in every direction. When you want the town version of the mountains, Park City's Old Town and historic Main Street are about fifteen minutes away for shopping, restaurants, and everything else.

- Street parking is prohibited from November 15 through April, and within 24 hours of snowfall or whenever there is snowfall on the roads, due to Wasatch County winter parking restrictions.

Park City Fire Code Official Dave Thacker has issued an open fire and fireworks ban effective immediately within Park City limits.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
