Owners were nice, helpful and friendly. They cooked a very good poached egg. Room was spacious with own private bathroom. Was cold when we arrived but was able to sort heating and it heated up quickly. One little problem, the toilet seat was broken.
Really lovely stay at this beautiful place. The room was big and well decorated, very warm and cosy. Breakfast was lovely and the host was really friendly! Thankyou
Good location, friendly owners, comfy clean room. Lovely breakfast.

Very pleasant stay...
Fantastic stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfy, and the breakfast was spot-on. Overall highly recommended, I will definitely be returning when I'm next staying in the area.
Historic farmhouse on a working farm. Excellent rooms and fabulous breakfast.
Has a lovely feeling of being far more off the beaten track than it actually is!
A beautiful farmhouse in the middle of glorious countryside. Friendly owners, good walking and a fabulous breakfast. Close to Ardingly.

A beautiful old cottage with many original features and a lovely atmosphere. Excellent hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cooked breakfast was lovely. All surrounded by beautiful scenery!
My mum and I had a wonderful 1 night stay here, the views from the windows are amazing. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed, the host was happy to answer questions about the local area and places to eat. Such a relaxing break.
We enjoyed our stay, Liz is a great host, good choices for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was lovely, the room was a generous size and the views were super. As animal lovers we enjoyed watching the sheep and cows and the gorgeous dogs and we fell in love with Gail, Breeze and not forgetting Tony.
Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal.
The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts with a beautiful character property in a fantastic rural location. Full of period features and although we only stayed for one night we did have a chance to stroll around the farm and surrounding area. Superb full english breakfast featuring a lot of produce sourced on the farm. A perfect place to stay to access all nearby countryside and amenities.

Vuews from room perfect all calm wonderful birdsongg.Loved breakfast all produce from farmGrrat great ciffee.
Recomend highly
The farmhouse is remote, surrounded by Ashdown forest, apart from a few meadows with grazing cattle and sheep. There are deer in the forest.
Access from the south is stony. Access from the north is easier, but either way there are potholes.
The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was well-equipped. Beds were not made or rooms cleaned unless requested.
Breakfasts were good with good scrambled eggs, excellent local honey and home-made marmalade.
