It is a Holiday Inn Express, not a 5 star resort. Good location, basic breakfast included. Parking is a bit tight when they are sold out.

Staff was kind, room was clean and in great condition. Breakfast was good. The best part was the hotel didn’t charge me a million hidden fees like the resorts in Kona do. As locals it’s hard to find somewhere affordable in Kona, so this was a lovely surprise.

The unexpected cost of $15.00 parking was not expected and was an added cost to my stay cost. I would have considered other options at other hotels. This cost of parking should have been known before booking stay. Another disappointing about stay is that the handwashing soap was completely empty when checking in the room and shower bath soap was 1/2 empty and blow dryer was damaged to where it can cause injury. This made me wonder if the room was checked before we got in the room. I have taken pictures to back my story. Please have housekeeping check everything before continuing to the next room.
