Westhavelland Nature and Star Park:
The dark night sky above the nature park is spectacular, with the Milky Way shining in all its glory. In recognition of this natural beauty, the nature park was designated a Star Park by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA)—the first Star Park in Germany!

Living & Relaxing:
Cozy living room with 2 sofas that can also be converted into sleeper sofas, as well as a cozy pellet fireplace for cool evenings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property.

Kitchen with a touch of nostalgia: In addition to a traditional wood-burning stove, the kitchen offers modern conveniences, including a ceramic cooktop, a microwave with grill and convection functions, a dishwasher, a mini-oven, and a freezer combo, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and egg cooker.

Bedroom & Bathroom:
A separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed ensures a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathroom is cozily furnished with a shower, sink, and toilet.

Outdoor Area & Extras
Idyllic Garden:
Relax in the garden seating area under a large walnut tree, which provides wonderful shade on summer days. Enjoy your breakfast or a barbecue here. Or savor your breakfast, a glass of wine, or even a fine cigar in our newly built summer house! You’ll love the charming decor there, too!

Parking:
You can park your car safely right on the property.

Your e-bike or canoe can be stored in a locked area.

The apartment is located directly on the Elbe-Havelcycle path and is the ideal starting point for:
Nature observation, extended tours through the unspoiled natural landscape with its impressive abundance of wildlife on excellently maintained bike paths

Experience the water:
Discover idyllic, unspoiled spots along the nearby Havel River. Bring your fishing rod and enjoy complete tranquility in nature! Two launch sites for canoes and similar watercraft are easily accessible! Get to know the Havel from the water and discover natural sandy beaches that invite you to relax and swim!

Culture & Excursions:
Quickly reach the Hanseatic city of Havelberg with its sights; enjoy a view of the entire city from the imposing cathedral. Or take a boat tour through the Havel floodplain. The Kaiser shipping company’s pier is located right in Havelberg.

Rathenow, the “City of Optics,” with its famous Optikpark; Tangermünde, a medieval gem with its beautiful, historic downtown; and Stendal are all nearby and well worth a visit.

Why not visit the Lilienthal-Centrum in Stölln, where the legendary “grass runway landing” of the “ IL-62 ” under Captain Kallbach took place in 1989?

Heating the old-fashioned way—a little piece of “Anno-Dazumal”
In our “Anno-Dazumal” vacation apartment, you can bring a little piece of the past back to life during the winter.
The kitchen stove is heated in the traditional way—by hand with wood. The necessary firewood is, of course, provided for you. This way, you can create a cozy warmth in the kitchen yourself and experience just how comfortable heating “the old-fashioned way” can be.
In the living room, a modern automatic pellet stove provides the heat and conveniently ensures pleasant temperatures.

A quick note about the stoves
To ensure that both stoves function reliably and safely, the host will need brief access to the vacation rental once a day. During this visit, the stoves will be cleaned and prepared for continued use.
We will, of course, make sure to keep this brief visit as discreet as possible and schedule it at a time that’s convenient for you.
“Anno-Dazumal” thus combines the charm of bygone days with modern comforts—a bit of old-fashioned heating without having to sacrifice coziness.
