This place is beautiful! Hidden gem. Modern amenities. The staff as a whole were super friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant was super convenient, and the food was delicious. The chef is so sweet! I highly recommend and would, without any hesitation, stay here again.

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Alhabana. 1st the level of service is warm, generous, attentive, very personalized, knowledgeable and effective. We were able to communicate with Mariem before getting to Havana, and she was extremely helpful and accommodating from the beginning providing great information that was valuable allowing us to plan an epic trip. All the reception staff we worked with (Mariem, Fabio and Rafael) maintained the same level of personable, kind, resourceful service throughout our stay with seamless communication and cooperation among them allowing them to keep track of all our activities. They were all key to arranging great excursions, transportation and any other services we needed with incredible service providers. 2nd the property is exceptionally clean, well maintained, breakfast was great (special mention to Pedro and Pavel), and all amenities were present as listed. The casa is well located as we were able to walk most of the time to our activities in the city. We recommend this place if you are looking to have an immersive, authentic experience in Havana.

I came to Cuba with low expectations due to the country's well known economic and infrastructure problems. The entire staff at Alhabana exceeded my wildest dreams. Every team member went above and beyond to make sure that our group of 6 people were well taken care of. They answered all of our questions, arranged tours and taxi rides, gave excellent restaurant recommendations, cleaned our rooms perfectly and prepared great breakfast foods. The Alhabana also has generator power to mitigate the effects of the scheduled daily power outages. The only minor issue is that the water pressure and temperature can be lacking at times. For people with a full head of hair (not me) it could be challenging. However, if it were a problem, I have no doubt that the staff could solve it for you. The surrounding neighborhood, like every other neighborhood in Havana, is noisy and dirty. There's absolutely nothing that Alhabana can do about it. The location is perfect. You can walk a couple of miles, or take a taxi, in any direction to see a huge amount of what Havana has to offer. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very well decorated room with full bathroom, 7 towels and amenities, the reception team works 24 hours and is always attentive, it is very central to walk around Havana and get to know its reality. We were not affected by the lack of electricity because they have an emergency generator, we really enjoyed the varied breakfast

The Staff are extremely professional, hardworking, outstanding & amazing. Rafael, Fabio, Maria & another lady (sorry I don’t know her name) will turn a customer’s bad day to a good one in an instant. How can I forget Pavel (the chef). His efforts & food presentation is on another level. You are certainly going to have a fabulous day after eating his breakfasts. He invests his time to cook your meal personally for you once you arrive for breakfast and serves it hot & fresh, he doesn’t do cold buffet meals. I’m glad I met these guys, I don’t need to worry about thinking of a nice place to stay when I return to Havana. Alhabana is the easy & best choice.

Even though my trip to Havana was a little bit disaster with my Bag not arriving. I have to say the staff were incredibly helpful, even the chef made an amazing breakfast and helped with my phone call in Spanish. The hotel is a little Gem but without the amazing staff it would not be half as good. If you want a little home away from home stay here Thank you for everything

The staff is great, everyone's English is excellent, rooms were comfortable and clean. However it's located oddly enough in a neighborhood that looks like a war zone but is two blocks away from one of the best restaurants in town.
