Amazing spot to stay!

Amazing location easy walk to Old Havana. The owner and the team there are very accommodating. breakfast is included and if you want to upgrade to an omelette very reasonable price. Wifi there is decent and the rooms and beautiful. Would stay there again 100 percent.

The location of Al Sol is great, just near Plaza Veija and restaurants. Al Sol is just a great place to stay if your are visiting Havana. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Paula is very helpful eventhough we had to use a translation app to communicate in Spanish. Breakfast is simple and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Carlos and his wife helped us get airport transfers which was really helpful.

Unfortunately my stay was an unpleasant one, the room and bathroom smelt really bad so we asked to change rooms but the hotel was full so we had no other choice but to leave the hotel and book another one. Also the area around the hotel at night is not the safest area so it's best to be extra careful if staying here.

A very good for as a first timer in Havana. Alex the owner gets himself commited in day to day operation of the proerty with his pleasant staffs. You get both the hotel and home experience out if your stay. Good location in vibrant old town. Safety wise, far more safer area than I was concerned beforehand. A highly recommended to other travellers to Havana. Best Wishes team.

Hi. This is a good place to stop, but you still need to remember that this is Cuba. Problems in Wi-Fi, the breakfast is monotonous but hearty, the outlets did not work all bad. But the location is good, close to all the attractions, 3 doors were locked for safety, as well as video surveillance.

Best place to live in Havana hands down

I stayed at Al Sol quite a few times during my stay in Havana. It was such a delight that i kept coming back. One of the biggest rooms I have seen in Havana, cleanliness top notch, peaceful, everything is in working order. The staff who prepared breakfast to cleaning ones are all smiles and lovely souls. More than anything the couple who runs these apartments are the best I came across in Cuba. They will go out of their way to help you. They are always at your disposal to provide any assistance even when they are not physically present. Big thanks to you guys to make my days in Havana easier and enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Havana and wants a comfortable accommodation in Old Havana. It's almost next to all the landmarks. Plenty of good food places nearby. It was a delight staying at Al Sol.

The location, high ceilings and doors, lovely tile on the floor in the hallway made that we booked. The owner and the lady’s from the housekeeping are also super friendly and want to help with everything. Until this point a 10 out of 10. But unfortunately there is a terrible mould smell in the room and you see where it is. Three nights and I got trouble with my throat. It’s not healthy to sleep in. Also the bathroom smells nasty when the air parfums don’t mask it and the toilet became clogged several times.

Lovely spacious, clean room - great breakfast included, very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome location a minute away from Plaza Vieja where there are lots of dining spots with a fabulous vibe and music. Close enough walk to waterfront and to the on-off bus stop at San Jose Artisans market - which btw is very good. Bought a few pieces of art! Would definitely book again.

The Hotel stuff was really nice and helpful, we booked. We really recommend to book the excursions from the Hotel, the trip to Vignales was wonderful, additional thanks to the driver, he was really nice, positive, gave a lot of information and tips. Also we’ve booked the Havana trip with classic car, the car was very good looking and in very good condition. The hotel stuff helped with any questions and assisted us on all the questions and requests, thanks a lot!
