My room was right by the front lobby, and the walls were paper thin. I had to play violin at a wedding, and the cleaning staff woke me up at 7:30 a.m. because they were yelling at each other in the hallway. I was looking forward to sleeping in because I had a busy day before, but no luck. I was absolutely exhausted. Every time I closed my eyes, there was either the voices of the staff or a vacuum cleaner. It ruined the whole day because I did not get enough sleep. I have epilepsy, so when I do not get enough sleep, I can have seizures. I could overlook the run down and outdated decor, but getting sleep is the most important part of a hotel stay! I should have found a hotel in Collins or Laurel, even Hattiesburg. The only positive point is the male receptionist when I checked in was very polite.

Before I talk about the room condition I would like to say, the hotel staff was EXCELLENT!! They were so kind, friendly and welcoming! However, the condition of the room was lacking in so many ways. There was water spots & mold growing on the ceiling from the room above leaking. The air conditioner made a hissing noise off & on the whole time it was on. The carpet felt damp. The pool was green. Again, the staff was wonderful and these conditions are no reflection on them, rather the owner of the establishment for not keeping up on the maintenance of the property. I would not stay there again.

The air did not work. Had it all the way down to 66 and it was still hot in room. There was trash still on counters in the room upon walking into what was suppose to be a clean room. Stains on sheets and pillows. Fire alarm was removed. The room was a non smoking room but still had a terrible odor. No elevator at facility either.

Great place to stay! Trey was amazing!

This hotel is the only available option in Ellisville and we were visiting family who didn’t have space for us so we decided to book and man oh man, I’m glad we did! When we got there, Trey greeted us and was so very kind and warm! He noticed that our booked room was different then what we initially booked and rectified the problem immediately, providing the agreed upon room through the hotel.com app. Every single time we left or came in he politely asked us if we were alright and if we needed anything. His hospitality alone was enough for us to decide to book again at the end of September. The room was slightly dated but the fridge was super cold and provided a little slush for our drinks…exactly how we love it! The AC was perfect and the shower was nice and hot. We disn’t have a remote in the room so Trey saved the day and quickly provided one. A nice lady called my husband “Boo” and that made him tickles pink. It was cute. Overall for the price, this is a great place to stay!

A bad hotel, badly run

They gave me a room that stained sheets, a damp carpet and a terrible smell. After I asked to be moved to a different room, they gave a room with much less smell, but a door lock that didn't work. Aside from the poor condition of the hotel, the lady running the front desk at night was astoundingly rude. The guy on duty during the day was OK, though.

The Usual Underwhelming 3-star American Experience

Well, seems hard to find any enthusiastic employees in American Hotels these days that are 3-stars or lower. Like this hotel, it feels a little like going into a convenience or fast-food store getting the minimal perfunctory mechanical reception and service. Rooms were a little dank, and breakfast sparce, but still a basically decent hotel with decent service.

Nasty Hotel

This hotel needs a makeover. I'll never stay here again. Room wasn't very clean. AC control area was nasty I had to clean with bleach spray also the toilet tub and the table was dusty. Whomever is clean the rooms are doing a piss poor job. This place wasn't worth the price at all.
