If you're in search of a low-key getaway, Bodie's Anchor is the perfect place for you. Located in the Villas of Hatteras, adjacent to Hatteras Landing Marina and just north of the Ocracoke Ferry Terminal, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is ideal for a couple's escape or a small family vacation.

Bodie's Anchor features two double beds, free high-speed WiFi, two TVs, a view over the large community pool, and a convenient kitchenette with a full fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a stovetop with a GE convection oven. There are four community grills as well, including two gas grills at the pool.

With the ocean and sound just a short walk from your door and shops and restaurants nearby, Bodie's Anchor is close to both adventure and attractions. It's a perfect hideaway for your next beach vacation!

Bodie's Anchor

This condo reeked upon arrival. Previous dish washer was full. No cleaning products. We were told our cleaning fee would be credited and we would be reimbursed for cleaning supplies. No remote for bedroom tv. Only picked up 3 stations. Living room tv was pocjet sized. Broken glass on the floor.

Comfortable & Cozy Hatteras Hideaway

We had a good overall experience with this property. Felt like a condo...very roomy for a couple's getaway. Not a whole lot open to do for activities in area this time of year.

Highly Recommend

Very CLEAN! Well Organized, Good supply of kitchenware, GREAT LOCATION! Close to Hatteras Point, Hatteras/Ocracoke Ferry, Shopping, Restaurants, and Museum. Washer and Dryer Available with NO CHARGE. Good Price, Great Value! First Vacasa Property I had NO/ZERO complaints! Only negative: we had no living room TV service for 3.5 days but Maintenance came and checked it, when they saw it was not working properly they brough us another one. Highly Recommend.

Just Fishin

Just 4 guys using the place to sleep while we spent a few days fishing. Everything was pretty much as described and all worked as it should. Only problem was Hurricane Ian. Can’t blame that on anyone.

Great, quiet location!

We had a great stay at Bodie's Anchor. The condo was in a great, quiet location at the very end of the island next to the Ocracoke ferry docks. Beautiful views. Short walk across the street to the beach access. The beach was not crowded. The pool area was nice. There were grills available at the pool area. There is also laundry available on each floor. It is right next to a couple of shopping options and backs up to a marsh and boardwalk that backs up to the sound. It was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen, especially for an efficiency. Be prepared for a late checkin though. We were not able to get into the unit until 7pm on check in day. Apparently, this was the last unit to clean for this cleaning crew. We actually got a text message saying it was ready and walked in to the cleaning crew still vacuuming and finishing up. We also had to check out at 8am on the last day--so be prepared for that! The only other issue we had was the wifi--we could not ever get on so it made it difficult to look up restaurants and places if we needed to make reservation, call to see if they were open, check hours, etc. We actually wound up going over on our data plan for the month due to this. As long as you have unlimited data, you are good! Overall, this was a great place to stay for our family--my husband and I and 2 girls (12 & 8). I am actually going to recommend it for my parents!

The perfect week

Bodies Anchor was a true delight. The perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy a week getaway. The location was convenient to everything we needed and it was a short couple minute walk to the beach where we spent everyday. We will definitely return

Some Issues!

Totally unusable shower head and bedroom TV broke. OBR never returned my call to address these issues. My husband spent OUR money and time to replace the shower head. Too bad because it is a great location.

Perfect family spring break

Our family enjoyed every minute of our week in Hatteras. The condo was wonderful and had everything we needed. We couldn’t get our devices connected to the WiFi but I secretly counted that as a blessing. The relaxation and family time was exactly what we all needed. We will definitely be returning.
