Very easy walking distance to Toitoi, bars and eateries. Even the studio was roomy enough and had just what you needed in the kitchen. My husband particularly liked that they had both plunger and pod coffee options available!

We love staying here, but unfortunately on this stay the bedding was really noisy. Im not aure if it was the mattress protector but every time myself or my husband moved you could hear it under the sheets.

The property was ok but when we arrived to check in there was no one there at 4:30 pm and it was all locked up. Luckily someone else was there & we figured out that it was a public holiday & we had to call to be let in. The room was ok but we’d been allocated an accessible room which we didn’t need - the result was the shower was too low unless you crouched & the bathroom got soaked every time you used the shower. There were no shelves/ ledges in the bathroom so we had to move our toiletry bags out prior to showering. Another issue we had was the $15 a night parking rate. It was in the city centre but the car park was not secure so why the high nightly fee? Although the room was fine, there was no outside space to relax anywhere around the hotel, no balcony or garden and no opening windows so fresh air was non-existent. The hotel served its purpose - somewhere to stay whilst visiting Napier & the Hawkes Bay wineries.it was not, however, worth the money & downtown Hastings is dull.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The people were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were immaculate and comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again when visiting the Bay!
