Enjoyable stay, with very minor hitches

I think that they cater mainly for more local, Indian trade, but there is plenty to attract a foreign traveller. It is good value, quite a good location (not right in the centre of town with all the hustle and bustle that brings) and very close to the railway station (1 km?). The building is looking a little 'tired' and could do with a brightening up, not that it's awful, mind you. One minor complaint was that internet access was not brilliant in the room, but equally better than some others I've stayed in. One cannot complain at this price.

Das Southern Star in Hassan liegt günstig für den Besuch der Tempel in Halebid und Belur. Es bietet viel Komfort, grosse Zimmer, schöne Badezimmer. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Leider fliesst das Warmwasser im Bad, wie in vielen indischen Hotels nur am Morgen und Abend.
