This hotel was disgusting, moldy and falling to pieces, when we checked out after 1st night they said "thought you might" as its non-refundable we lost the other 2 nights we booked. Expedia were very helpful in trying to get a refund but hotel wouldnt respond. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

The room was clean and functional. Plenty of parking. The receptionist who checked me in was miserable and didn’t make me feel welcome. Pretty sure I was the only one staying there. The hotel is very tired in most respects. It’s quite isolated also so you need a car to get anywhere. My room was located very close to the A19 so a lot of road traffic noise.

I book accommodation for contractors every single week for a high volume of men. I was informed by the guests that the accommodation was not fit for purpose and the men refused to stay there. I could not get a refund avoid this property

The room was disgusting, cracks in the ceiling, bedsheets had holes in them, pillow covers came pre dirty. Mould in the bathroom. Bed slats had been swapped for MDF boards and sounded like a creaky wardrobe. The restaurant part was phenomenal food and great service. A big shame about the Hotel side
