This Days Inn is our designated stopover when visiting family in Maine. For several years we picked this exact hotel for a rest. We’ve never had a complaint. But this year, it was updated. It was such a nice surprise to see the updated rooms and newly painted hallways! Be back next year.

If I hadn’t been traveling with my handicapped sister (snd it was late when we checked in) I would had demanded a refund and left this hotel. The room was dirty (looked like dried poop on bathroom door and bathtub. Beds on platform squeaked whenever you moved, and other issues. It appears they tried to make some improvement, but basically, the improvements were sloppy at best. “Lipstick on a pig” is the best I can say for this hotel.

Good for a basic stay. Easy to highway, to town & big box stores. Rooms abit spartan; there is a microwave. No teabags at the coffee station. Ran out of sausages at breakfast, have to notify front desk. Basic powdered scrambled eggs, sausage, dry cereal, sliced bread, a novelty pancake maker! Color scheme us relentlessly cheerful 😊. Outdoor firepit could be a nice way to end the day.
