This is a clean, well-maintained 100-year-old home in historic Harpers Ferry, WV — not a brand-new, sealed hotel environment.

Due to its age and location, you may occasionally see a harmless spider or small insect. These are rare but possible and are clearly disclosed in advance.

This home allows pets, which means even after thorough cleaning, it’s possible a single hair from a previous guest’s pet may be found. This is normal in any pet-friendly property.

If you have severe arachnophobia or expect the home to be 100% free of any natural elements, this may not be the right property for you.

The house has historic windows and doors, so small drafts or signs of normal wear (such as caulking in kitchen ) are part of its character and not cleanliness issues.

We clean thoroughly between guests — however, this is a real home cleaned by humans, not a lab or showroom.

This was a lovely home with a nice walk to the lower town area of Harper's Ferry. The house was very comfortable and provided a nice space to rest. If our dog enjoyed car rides it would have been a great place for him!
