The location was central and the room very comfortable. It is an older hotel, though. The window in my bathroom would not close so I had to have the heater on high. There is no dedicated hotel staff so not as much service as other hotels. But breakfast was great, and we dis enjoy our stay.

Quite noisy as room overlooked marquee and music though quite a civilised gathering and it looked pretty with lights and flowers and cocktails! Inn has been well renovated with quirky fun interiors. It is very comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

The bedrooms were well decorated and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, and the manager/owner was very accommodating to our groups requests. Only downside is no car park, but you can park for free a couple of mins walk away and wasn't really an issue for us

Couldn’t have wished for a nicer stay. Perfect location to travel into London with frequent trains from Harpenden station. The room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was luxurious. Breakfast was excellent with great choice and service. Highly recommend.

Superb room with great bed and sheets. Bar and restaurant onsite is superb and a huge plus. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. FYI there are no taxis waiting if u arrive by rail so plan for that.
