Stay in a lot of Green Big hotels and they are always lovely the room was nice but could do with a bigger fan as they room was in the loft of the building, food was really nice staff are very happy to help and lovely in general

Really nice hotel. Room was really hot but it was a heat wave and probably not a problem most of the time. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially in the pub for dinner and breakfast. Easy access to train station and travel in to London. Was a nice place to stay outside of all the business. Easy access to Stansted airport too. Would definitely stay again.

All staff were so friendly and helpful from check-in to staff in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble despite the hotel being full. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We had two peaceful nights stay here and would definitely recommend and stay again if we had the need.

Two night stay visiting friends who were staying In Sawbridgeworth. The receptionist Maisie was extremely helpful by arranging a local taxi for our friends - the cost was substantially cheaper than an Uber. The room was very good but no air con, just a fan, and the wifi did drop out from time to time. Breakfast was very good and again staff very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again in the future

The staff were all very friendly. The pub restaurant was very nice and the food was very tasty. Breakfast was great. They have a well stocked bar and nice areas to sit inside or outside in the pleasant courtyard. The pub is located in Old Harlow and parts of the pub date back to the 14th century which makes it very charming. The hotel accommodation is adjacent to the pub and has nice rooms, good facilities and a large carpark which is free of charge. We stayed 2 nights in July during a heatwave and the room did get very hot despite a fan being provided so I have taken off a star. Otherwise a brilliant place which if it had air conditioning in the rooms would have earned a 5 star review.

The rooms aren't actually in/ above the pub, there is a separate building out the back with the rooms. The building isn't anywhere near as attractive at the pub! I was a little disappointed as it was a birthday present to go to The Henry Moore Foundation, dinner and stay over. The rooms are nice, we had a king room and the bed was huge and comfy- no complaints about the rooms themselves, other than they were very hot. I would stay again if in the area, but not as a special occasion.
