Getting Here
Downtown Seattle is about 35 minutes by the pedestrian-only fast ferry, and about 1 hour total by the car ferry. The house is about 20 minutes from the Kingston Ferry Terminal and 35 minutes from the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal. Check ferry schedules at the WSDOT website (car ferry) and Kitsap Transit website (fast ferry). Download the WSDOT app for real-time updates. If driving, we are about 1.5 hours south through Tacoma then north via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Ample parking for at least 3 cars on the property.
FIFA WORLD CUP
Attending FIFA World Cup 2026 in Seattle? The Pearl sleeps 8 and is perfectly positioned for match days. For groups, The Pearl works out to around $80 to $120 per person per night, less than a standard Seattle hotel room, with Puget Sound as your backyard.
Two separate kitchen areas, a brand new 10-foot butcher block island, plus a back prep kitchen with its own sink and coffee station, so 8 people can fuel up and head to the ferry without the morning chaos. After the final whistle, come home to Puget Sound, the Adirondack chairs, and the kind of quiet that resets everything.
Ferry options on match days: Kingston Fast Ferry (40 min, passenger only, book returns in advance); Bainbridge Island Ferry (35 min, car and passenger); Edmonds Ferry (30 min, best if driving into Seattle). Allow extra time on match days; ferries fill quickly.
THE SETTING
Hansville sits at the tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, one of the most quietly spectacular corners of the Pacific Northwest. Far enough from the city to feel genuinely remote. Close enough to everything to feel free, not stranded. A hiking trail runs directly from the property, facing a horse farm across the road. The Pearl sits between two of Puget Sound's historic lighthouses: Skunk Bay Lighthouse is your nearest neighbor, and Point No Point Lighthouse, the oldest on Puget Sound, is a short drive north. Cozy up by the fireplace and watch bald eagles and ospreys soar above the Sound. This is the Pacific Northwest as it was meant to be experienced.
PLANNING YOUR STAY
The Pearl books quickly, particularly for FIFA World Cup 2026 match weeks and summer holidays. International and out-of-state guests are welcome to reserve up to 12 months in advance. Secure your dates now.
