We always enjoy our stay at St James. It is perfectly locted to shops and the pools. The rooms are comfortable, and equipped with all the necessaries. Good service with friendly staff. We have stayed at many places in Hanmer Springs and this is by far our favorite. Highly recommend.

This place exceeded our expectations. The rooms were extremely clean, new, well-presented, and had all the amenities we needed. Absolutely lovely place to staying the hosts are the moat nices people. Room was gawjus, clean and tidy., i couldn't fault anything. We arrived late at night in the cold and when we got up to our room the heatpump was going and our room was warm and cozy. Id never stay anywhere apart from the St James in future. Highly recommend.

Sharon was very helpful suggesting local hikes and offers towels to take to the Hamner Spring pools. The room was clean and the kitchen was modern with a microwave and dishwasher. The town for being small had several good options to eat and of course the Sulphur pools were wonderful.
