The oldest Motor Inn from the 1960s has a huge potential as a destination in its own right. Just need to restore it to original condition (eg. do away with the 90s colonial revival lace & federation colours)

We had stayed at Bandicoot Motor Inn for one night in their Family room as last minute decision while travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne. The check-in was easy and the room was clean. Though it was a short stay, I wanted to leave just after few hours, had an eerie feel to the place. There was a particular smell in the room as it seems it was closed for a long time and even the air condition wasn’t in the room were the main bed was. Our side of the rooms are close to the highway, though not a busy road but still noisy when any car passes.
