Welcome to this sunny cottage at the gate to Valön's nature reserve, considered by many to be one of Bohuslän's finest for its rich opportunity for nature experiences, bare cliffs, rocky landscapes and swimming and fishing. From the cottage it is not far to swimming and jetties and in the immediate area are several fishing and stonemason communities with additional bathing places as well as coastal paths and roads overlooking the Bohuslän archipelago. The area is also very suitable for you who want to kayak. It is also geographically well located for day trips to many charming coastal communities both to the north and south. The cottage, carefully renovated is both cozy and homely, located sunny on a plot with its own garden and lawn. From the garden patios you can enjoy good meals with drinks while discussing the day's adventures or maybe you can relax with a good book in the shade after lunch. The entrance is reached via a small welcoming vestibule, then you enter the large kitchen, open all the way to the roof ridge, the kitchen is completely dominated by the nice large oven. The oven is excellent for eg pizza baking, so take the chance and become your very own pizza baker! The kitchen area also has a stove, microwave, fridge and freezer. From the kitchen you reach the bathroom with shower and the large living room with cozy wood burning stove and TV. Inside the living room there is a bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. From the kitchen there is a steep staircase up to the second floor, where you will find a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The cottage is equipped with WiFi. In nearby Gerlesborg there is an art school and the KKV artists' collective workshop where you can look at various different exhibitions but also attend various educations. Bovallstrand is a cozy old fishing village and with its location right by the sea makes salt bathing a given activity and here are also the famous bathing islets which are one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. During the spring, April and May, the situation is excellent for those of you who are interested in fishing for salmon trout. In Hamburgsund, another nearby fishing and boat community, there is a grocery store, fish shop, several restaurants, shopping, etc. There is also an outdoor stage "Scene on Prayer" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theater. From Hamburgsund there is a car ferry over to the neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing places, there are several different opportunities to get out by boat and see the fantastic archipelago ex to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väderöarna.
