Welcome to our 60-square-meter attic apartment in a historic building in the heart of Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel neighborhood in the Eimsbüttel district. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people and is comfortably furnished, so you can feel completely at home during a vacation or business trip.
The “Opti” apartment is located on the 3rd floor (attic) of our historic building, which does not have an elevator.

Our apartment is located in the Eimsbüttel district on a quiet side street on the edge of Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel. This area is one of Hamburg’s most popular neighborhoods and is a real trendy district. The Sternschanze is a colorful and multicultural neighborhood and is commonly referred to in Hamburg simply as the “Schanze.” Countless restaurants, cafés, bars, and boutiques are right on your doorstep. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn are just a 5-minute walk away and will take you to all of Hamburg’s attractions in 10 minutes—whether it’s the trade fair, the harbor, the Reeperbahn, downtown, HafenCity with the Elbphilharmonie, or the main train station in the city center. The airport is only 8 km (a 20-minute drive) from the main train station.

HOW TO GET THERE
- CAR: If you’re arriving by car, you have two options:
1. Park outside the resident parking zones (Eimsbütteler Straße is located in resident parking zone “AE101”)
2. You can park in a parking garage (e.g., Parkhaus Neue Flora APCOA, Stresemannstr 161, 22769 Hamburg, max. 35€ per day, up to 1.95m in height, or Parkhaus Messe, Lagerstraße 2, 20357 Hamburg, 16€ per day, up to 2.0m in height)
Please note: You can only park on the street for a maximum of 3 hours at €2/hour and must then move your vehicle (payment at the meter or via an app, e.g., EasyPark)
- S-BAHN: The “Holstenstraße” S-Bahn station is just a 5-minute walk away
- U-BAHN: The “Christuskirche” and “Emilienstraße” U-Bahn stations are 12 minutes away.
- BUS: The “Alsenplatz” bus stop is just 3 minutes away. Buses 20, 25, and 600 stop here
- Cambio Car-Sharing: There are 3 Cambio car-sharing vehicles right next to our building’s entrance
- Stadtrad: There’s a Stadtrad bike-sharing station directly across from our entrance. It’s best to download the app so you can rent and return bikes anywhere in the city.
- TIP: To get around Hamburg easily, download the “mytaxi” app or the “HVV” app to check public transportation schedules (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and buses).
