We stayed at Novotel Hamburg Alster for one night while driving from Italy to Sweden, and it was a great stopover. The hotel is nice, nothing overly fancy, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A special highlight was the free ice cream at check-in, which the kids really appreciated! The hotel was easy to find, and having a parking garage was a big advantage. It’s also conveniently located close to the U-Bahn, making it easy to get around Hamburg. Breakfast was quite crowded around 9 a.m. in July, but the staff handled the situation very well and kept everything organized. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly service.

Thank you so very much Novotel Hotel, socially the gentleman on the counter and the young man in the bar forgot their names, both from Afghanistan, very friendly , highly professional fully experienced and very well behaved. Overall pretty good stay at the hotel, though the shampoo/body wash offered seems a bit lack luster. Also having a menu for the breakfast would be helpful, as asking the greeter at the dinning area with "what options are available, what do you serve, and 2-3 other forums of the same question yielded little results.
