Great location with easy access to central Hamburg via the nearby U-Bahn. It’s also very convenient from Hamburg Airport, with just one bus to the accommodation. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the kids especially loved the pool in the evenings. It was perfectly located for all the places we wanted to visit during our trip. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly stuff. However the kitchen in the room needs update for usability. There is nothing wrong about it but it strongly feels that it’s an apartment room someone has lived and moved out.

Room was good and clean, men facilities lacked a bit. Kitchen in room, but no utensils, pans or plates. Wonder how you are doing expected to make use of it? TV in bedroom, but no remote to use it. Pool advertised (primary reason we chose this hotel), but turns out it is booked for water gymnastics for non residents all morning. A bit disappointing overall, but staff was friendly.

Odd arrangement! Hotel guests are set up in a vacant part of an independant livining area in a senior home. Some Bolt drivers could not find the pickup/dropoff spot at the hotel/senior residence entrance. We booked a larger room/ apartment with kitchenette.. kitchen area was very small and cramped, behind a door.. awkward arrangement... feels like visiting a senior living complex.

On the plus side, the room was spacious and clean. However, several of the staff were quite rude and we did not feel at all welcome. The building is also a retirement home, and I felt that was the main focus and that the hotel was just a side hustle. Breakfast is advertised until 10, but the limited buffet is not replenished after about 9.30, and on the 5 mornings we were there it was very depleted by 9.45. We were disappointed to be advised by email a few days before our visit that the swimming pool would be closed for maintenance, and unimpressed to discover on day 4 that it had actually been open throughout our trip but an email update had not been sent. Also, just for information, the sauna rules state that you should only use it naked!
