clean but sterile decor in rooms

Had to check in a few hours early.. reception staff was very friendly and helpful. helped make several prints from their printer. Rooms however, where clean and comfortable but somewhat small, austere and lacked some practical/functional features like towel bars and hooks in the bathroom.

Read positive reviews about the hotel however located in unsafe area of town. Used train and bus to reach hotel and didn’t feel comfortable at all. Room was very noisy as well and couldn’t sleep due to notice from adjourning room. Staff was very cold and uninviting.

Wir haben bereits mehrfach in verschiedenen Häusern von Motel One übernachtet und waren bislang stets zufrieden. Umso enttäuschender war unser jüngster Aufenthalt, der leider deutlich hinter unseren bisherigen Erfahrungen zurückbleibt. Die Betten empfanden wir als ausgesprochen ungemütlich, was insbesondere an den sehr harten und groben Kissen sowie an der insgesamt minderwertig wirkenden Bettwäsche lag. Ein erholsamer Schlaf war unter diesen Umständen kaum möglich. Besonders unangenehm war zudem eine Situation am Morgen: Gegen 9:15/9:20 Uhr klopfte die Reinigungskraft nur sehr kurz an und betrat anschließend ohne abzuwarten direkt das Zimmer. Dieses Vorgehen empfinden wir als nicht angemessen und störend für die Privatsphäre der Gäste. Insgesamt entspricht dieser Aufenthalt leider nicht dem Standard, den wir bisher mit Motel One verbunden haben. Wir hoffen sehr, dass es sich hierbei um eine Ausnahme handelt und zukünftige Aufenthalte wieder das gewohnte Niveau erreichen.

Der Aufenthalt war prima und es ist klagen auf hohem Niveau, dass die Klimaanlage etwas zu warm war und es zum Frühstück keine warmen Gerichte gab. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das parken in der Tiefgarage war unkompliziert.
